NONDESCRIPT CARRIAGES.
There are several carriages, such as the slat-side phaeton and beach phaeton here shown, which may fairly be classed under this head. They are modifications of carriages which are used on the other side of the water, and are better adapted to our use when of light construction, although they lose somewhat of their character. Of course there are many other carriages which may come under the same designation, some good, many bad.
Undress liveries should be used with almost all of them.
